This month found us folding origami shapes, which eventually, and with much patient tutoring from Mary, came together to make a kinetic book structure. Although tricky, the final structure can be turned inside out and looks great whichever way it is turned- see photos
Higher quality copy paper seems to work best for this structure, although origami paper can also work.

We discussed the planned workshop with Guy Begby, and eventually decided to run it next year in Spring as many of our members have holiday and family commitments this Autumn. Marilyn has notified Guy of the change to our plans.
Books on the themes of ‘natural forms’ and ‘telling tales’ were shared and enjoyed, and there is another month for works in progress. We also discussed the problems of finding suitable printers for book and craft work. Any great current model ideas are welcome.
REMINDER: our May meeting is on Saturday May 11th due to the Quaker Meeting House being closed for the bank holiday on the first Saturday.
