Slip covers for handmade books

Thank you everyone for a very enjoyable workshop.  I always get anxious beforehand but you all chip in and make it fun .....Fran

We discussed the Magellan Book Exhibition and caught up with date and plans for the Manchester Print  Fair at Hot Bed Press 1st December .
Some work was passed around showing examples of collograph printing using the Sissix Die Cutter and further developments in creating rust prints with the addition of rainwater.

It was discovered that the November meeting may be difficult for some to attend due to the closure of the railway line between Edge Hill and Limestreet over that weekend 1st and  2nd November.

Sue and Chris offered to run a much requested Gelli Plate event early in 2020.

We spent a leisurely morning making different sized slip cases using plain and patterned paper.

G’day

Now back home and jet lagged 75 days of travel and four journals, but lots of memories. Good to see you.

All the best

Eric
