Frances led us in making a pop up book which produced a really pleasing result, even if some of us found the hinge a bit challenging to begin with. Lots of possibilities with this one we feel, even of a pop up on top of a pop up! Thanks to Frances for a new structure to us all.
We discussed the May meeting because it coincides with the Coronation, and since the meeting have decided to have our meeting a week earlier on April 29th. The week after would have been better, but that coincides with Eurovision here in Liverpool so definitely not an option!
At our show and tell session, we saw some lovely books, all if which had great stories to tell. Marilyn reminded everyone who can to go and see the Sefton Open at The Atkinson, Southport, where we have books exhibited.
Our next exhibition is in October at Knowsley, so members need to keep this in mind when making this year.
Next months meeting is a week earlier on April 29th
